CrisisManagement

Crisis? What crisis?

A reputation takes years to build up yet can be destroyed in minutes.

Serious problems do happen even in the best of businesses. And when your reputation is at stake you need expert help – fast. Once a crisis has struck, an organisation may face a flood of interest from customers and the press.

Scot PR can draw up a crisis management communications plan to ensure:

  • Target audiences and communications methods are identified
  • Customers and staff are informed about what has happened and what the organisation is doing to tackle the problem
  • Key messages are communicated clearly to the media
  • Emergency procedures are rehearsed and updated
  • Fall-out is minimised and where possible turned to advantage

If required, our specialists can provide round-the-clock cover, ensuring all media calls receive a professional response day or night.
Dealing with the press, radio and television is high risk. Just one wrong word can spell disaster. Our practical, hands-on media training courses provide senior managers with the knowledge and skills they need to deal confidently and effectively with the media. Courses are tailored to individual organisations requirements, and generally last between half-a-day and one day.
