Northern client lights up Scot PR
Scot PR has won its most Northerly client, just a couple of months after landing another customer in the Lake District. It will undertake a campaign for the Kirkwall Hotel in the Orkney capital. The 36-bedroom Victorian building, which overlooks the harbour, is one of the town’s landmarks. “We’ve represented clients with operations from Aberdeen to South Wales and overseas as far as West Central Africa, but this is the furthest North we’ve worked, Hotel PR Director Scott Thornton said. “Orkney’s World Heritage archaeological sites and many other attractions offer huge potential for further development of tourism, he added. “We’re looking forward to helping the Kirkwall Hotel serve many more guests in the leisure and corporate markets. Scot PR, which has worked for several other hotels in the Lake District, recently signed up The Pheasant, the historic hotel and fine dining restaurant at Bassenthwaite.
